Freelance role for Hospitality, £200 to £225 per day worked. Induction and some training given remotely. The role is home-based with some travel – mileage paid. This role is until the end of July 2025, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent as there is plenty of work available Monday to Friday.

Seeking someone who can work 3, 4, or 5 days per week, dependent on availability, from 8.30 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility. Can reside anywhere South of England from the Midlands down.

Job role:

  • Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards for Front of House Hospitality level 2 and 3 for learners in Hotels such as Admin, Reception, Events, Conferences, Housekeeping.
  • If covered food and beverage, it is an advantage but not essential.
  • Must have end point assessing experience for Hospitality at level 2 or 3.
  • Must have either worked in an EPA role or have previously been an EPA delivering end point assessments for an awarding body.
  • Carrying out assessments with the learners.
  • The appointments will be scheduled for you.
  • Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online.
  • Agreeing a plan and schedule for each assessment activity for the end point window.
  • Write ups and report assessments.

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Must be Assessor qualified – such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33.
  • Must have own equipment, using own laptop and set up an email address.
  • Ideally DBS in place and on the update service.
