We are looking for an experienced HR professional looking to join a growth business in Abingdon. This is a standalone HR Manager role, which will play a pivotal part in overseeing the day to day HR operations, as well as providing strategic input and guidance to the board. This is a permanent role paying £50,000 – £60,0000 DOE, offering hybrid working from their offices based in Abingdon. What You’ll Be Doing As HR Manager, you will play a key role in aligning people-focused objectives with company strategy. Responsibilities include: Driving HR strategy in partnership with senior stakeholders. Providing professional HR services, including: Employee relations (e.g., grievances, disputes, performance, and absence management). Recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Policy and process development in line with employment legislation. Supporting payroll operations and liaising with Finance for payroll inputs. Overseeing appraisals, rewards, and benefits systems. Leading change management initiatives. Maintaining HR systems and ensuring GDPR compliance. Championing a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
