Senior Geoscientist Location: Brighton, Oxford, Aberdeen, Edinburgh Type: Hybrid Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM About the Role: Join our dynamic consultancy and survey team as a Senior Geoscientist, contributing to offshore renewable projects. You’ll analyse and integrate multidisciplinary datasets, assess site conditions and risks, and support data acquisition using advanced unmanned systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support on a variety of projects, collaborating with other teams or working independently. Prepare and contribute to technical reports, geo-hazard assessments, geological models, and risk assessments. Assist in planning data acquisition studies, interpret seismic data, and create surface maps for renewable and oil & gas projects. Present findings to clients and senior management. Develop geological models for windfarm foundation designs and step in for the Senior Geophysicist as needed. What You Bring: Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Marine Geosciences, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in marine near-surface geophysics or offshore engineering. Strong analytical skills and experience in client-facing roles. Familiarity with software like IHS Kingdom, DUG Insight, Petrel, and GIS tools. Right to work in the UK.
