Blue Legal are delighted to share a fantastic opportunity with one of our most prestigious legal clients. This firm stands head and shoulders above the rest and is currently seeking a Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their Banking BD team in the London office. You will support the practice by delivering on key initiatives which will raise the already high profile of the sector. You will work closely with some of the best lawyers in the world and have support, development and guidance from the Senior BD Manager for Banking.

The Responsibilities:

Assist the Banking team with the delivery of the practice\’s BD strategy.

Responsible for credential and pitch requests, developing accurate first drafts and project-managing the end-to-end process.

Assist with BD & Marketing requests, including client alerts, mailing lists, capability statements.

Support with the development of internal communications, to raise the group\’s profile internally.

Provide support to the delivery of BD initiatives relating to client targeting to raise the profile of the Banking group.

Responsible for the end-to-end directory and awards submissions process for the group to key publications and the media.

Identify sponsorship & membership opportunities to raise the group profile and generate new business opportunities.

Preparation of client seminars and roundtable events for the Banking practice.

The Candidate:

Previous BD / marketing experience at either senior assistant or executive level whilst working within a legal or professional services environment.

Educated to a degree or equivalent level.

Exposure to transactional practices (Advantageous).

Great communication skills and high attention to detail.

Please note : Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
