This is your chance to work on extraordinary projects, including groundbreaking new builds and sensitive listed building restorations. A boutique Architectural practice in central London is looking for a Technical Architect to join their rapidly growing team. The practice delivers projects across a variety of sectors including workplace, hospitality, education and cultural. We’re looking to speak with highly skilled Technical Architects to work on incredible projects, including new builds, listed buildings, and an iconic Art Deco cinema, combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving.
Whilst this position would offer a fantastic variety of project typology, the initial focus would be working on a complex, cut & carve base build project in London. A world-famous cinema will be retrofitted, so experience working on listed buildings would be advantageous. Within this position you’ll have fantastic growth opportunity, working closely with the company founders who share a track record of working for some of the world’s most prestigious and awarded projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Leading technical delivery of projects.
- Producing construction drawings in Revit.
- Develop sensitive and creative design solutions that balance modern functionality with the preservation of historical and architectural integrity.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Onsite monitoring & coordination.
Requirements:
- ARB registered / RIBA qualified.
- Strong Revit proficiency.
- Client facing and site experience.
- Base build/cut & carve experience.
- Experience on retrofit projects.
- Experience on listed buildings.
- Familiarity and knowledge of both traditional and contemporary style.
