GWR Legal Recruitment are working on behalf of a Solicitors practice in Norwich who are looking to recruit additional assistants to their Residential Property team. The successful candidate will be supporting lawyers in the team in dealing with their caseload of conveyancing matters and duties may include things such as the following:

  • Opening of files
  • Dealing with the preparation of initial paperwork and correspondence
  • Requesting searches
  • Keeping clients, agents and other Solicitors up to date via telephone, letters or email
  • File management including filing of documents and saving of relevant documentation or information on computer systems
  • SDLT returns
  • Registrations with the land registry
  • General admin duties as required in the team
