Solution Architect

Salary: £100-115,000 + Package Location: London – Hybrid, 2 days/week in office

Gresham Hunt is currently partnered with a leading banking client in its search for a Solutions Architect to join their Customer Experience function, based in London.

We are looking for someone who possesses a keen interest in technology, understanding its mechanisms, who will also have a positive influence on others by modeling the bank’s values and helping to develop your colleagues’ skillsets.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have in-depth knowledge of containerization, microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven design concepts.
  • Possess extensive experience in solution design, security, and resilience patterns.
  • Have a strong understanding of API standards, security, and gateway patterns.
  • Be proficient in data technologies, including SQL/NoSQL and Big Data.
  • Have familiarity with cloud architecture, primarily GCP and Azure.
  • Have knowledge of transitioning from monolith to microservice architectures.
  • Possess strong experience in technology such as Python, JavaScript, Java Spring Boot.
  • A background in Banking or Finance Services sector would be highly desirable.
  • Be proficient with Python and Big Data technologies, including machine learning.
  • Have experience with agile and iterative design methodologies.
