We are recruiting for a leading name within the Asbestos industry. They are rapidly growing their client base in the South East, and seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst who can integrate smoothly into their busy team. The role will require candidates to provide a thorough and comprehensive service to both new and existing clients, as such, it is essential that applicants are able to maintain high service standards and confidently carry out duties. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have proven experience working as a Surveyor / Analyst within a successful Asbestos company
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Excellent level of technical knowledge, including: UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 compliance guidelines
- Strong literacy and IT skills
- Conducting work in a professional manner
- Able to work to agreed deadlines
The Role:
- Completing management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a mixed portfolio of sites
- Undertaking re-inspections and discussing findings directly with clients
- Writing site-specific reports to outline findings
- Conducting 4 stage clearances as well as leak, background, personal, smoke and reassurance air testing
- Ensuring compliance guidelines are upheld across asbestos removals projects
- Safely collecting asbestos samples from site
- Wearing the correct PPE on site
- Meeting with clients to discuss findings and provide thorough technical advice
