Interim Principal Accountant

Interim Principal Accountant | £350-£400/day | Hybrid (2 days in office)

North East Local Authority | 6-month contract (scope to extend) | Start ASAP

Panoramic Associates are partnering with a growing local authority finance team to appoint an Interim Principal Accountant. This role will provide essential support during a period of transition while a permanent hire is being made.

What we're looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIPFA or CIMA)

• Strong experience in budget monitoring, costings, and business cases

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Local authority experience (desirable but not essential)
