We are working with a fantastic law firm based near Basildon who are looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal to work on a full-time permanent basis. Typical duties would include:
- Preparing document bundles for fee earners as required.
- The role primarily involves providing assistance to the solicitors within the department in relation to a mix of client work.
- Carrying out legal tasks is required, including drafting tasks in relation to legal documentation.
- Drafting correspondence, preparation of SDLT returns and Land Registry forms and liaising directly with clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and relevant parties.
- Attending meetings and taking notes as required.
- Maintain case files and ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
The successful candidate:
- A law degree or previous paralegal experience
- An interest or experience working within Commercial Property
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
- Good client facing skills and able to build positive relationships.
