In this position you will maintain, fault-find and improve commercial heating and ventilation plant across a 300-building estate. From daily PPMs and reactive repairs to producing RAMS, mentoring apprentices and supervising contractors, your remit spans day-to-day engineering and long-term asset planning - all with the tools, budget and processes of a major public-sector employer.
This role entitles you to 40 days annual leave (including Christmas & Easter closures), free training that triggers £600-£1,200 allowances per ticket, an on-call rota which pays £4000 extra on your salary.
The Role:
- Deliver planned & reactive HVAC maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance.
- Produce quotations, permits and RAMS; keep CAFM/PPM systems fully updated.
- Mentor apprentices, supervise specialist contractors and support energy-saving projects.
The Person:
- Holds NVQ/C&G Level 3 (or higher) in Mechanical HVAC / Plumbing & Heating.
- Has proven commercial experience with boilers, pumps, AHUs and BMS fault-finding.
- Is comfortable producing compliance paperwork and joining the on-call rota.
