Head of Year

Head of Year required for a high-achieving all-girls school in Central London. The school is looking for a Head of Year and is flexible on the subject you teach. This role involves:

• The Head of Year holds a key position as a middle manager and is responsible for the development and well-being of all students.
• Together with the tutor team, the Head of Year builds an all-round knowledge and promotes the academic progress of each student by creating a stimulating learning environment.

GCSE pass grades 9-4 were 96.9% in 2024, compared with 73% as the national average. GCSE grades 9-7 were 62%, compared with 26% nationally. Requirements:

Applications are welcome from Head of Year teachers at any stage in their career including NQTs. Both British trained teachers and overseas trained teachers will be considered for this position. All applicants should have UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification.
