This is an opportunity to work for a company who work in design, supply, installation, and maintenance of ventilation products. They are looking to recruit you to work as either an Internal Sales Engineer or External Sales Engineer.
The role: You will join a team of 4 and will be tasked with selling a range of ventilation products throughout the UK. This will be over the phone and email with occasional site travel (less than once a month).
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will design bespoke ventilation solutions using their in-house software to produce technical proposals. You will liaise with the sales and technical personnel within the organisation to identify new prospects and new markets to help grow the business. You will follow the sales process through from customer enquiry, design, quotation, follow up, negotiation, order, and dispatch. During these processes, you will be required to utilise all customer contact points to develop and strengthen B2B relationships.
The company is working to a long-term plan to expand the business. This will provide progression opportunities as well as the opportunity to enhance your salary.
You will have:
- Drive, self-motivation and be results orientated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers
- Highly competent with an eye for detail
- Numerate – able to calculate prices, margins etc.
- Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
