Are you a seasoned Electrical Estimator looking for your next permanent opportunity? We’re seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to lead the estimating of a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and solar PV projects, with values up to £2 million. You’ll join a well-established electrical contractor based in South London, where you will play a key role in pricing and winning work on exciting commercial and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on estimating projects valued between £50K to £2 million
  • Prepare accurate and detailed electrical and mechanical cost estimates
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine requirements
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather and clarify scope
  • Monitor budgets and provide cost control support throughout project lifecycles
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations
  • Maintain well-organised records and documentation for all estimates
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator within M&E contracting
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including solar PV
  • Excellent commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure
  • Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills – comfortable interacting with clients and project teams
  • Familiarity with health & safety and current industry standards
  • Full UK driving licence – essential
  • ECS/CSCS card – required
  • Must live within 40 miles of South London, or be willing to relocate
