The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and insightful Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our dynamic finance team at YouLend. This role is vital in supporting the company’s strategic planning through financial forecasting, budgeting, and in-depth financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will bring an extensive background in finance, will be data orientated and can convey complex financial insights clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders. We are seeking a team player and someone with a cooperative mindset to join our team.
- Take ownership of the medium-term and long-term finance budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide in-depth review and insight of financial and operational results to drive understanding and improvement of company performance.
- Provide detailed, actionable insights and commentary on budget versus actual performance.
- Deliver comprehensive analysis, identify market trends, and provide insightful commentary to the executive team.
- Develop and present robust business cases to support new investments, strategic initiatives, and developing recommendations for critical business decisions.
- Effectively communicate results and strategic recommendations to senior management, driving initiatives that result in significant cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience preferably within a similar industry
- Advanced excel skills including macro writing
- A datacentric mindset with a track record of using these insights to drive and support business decisions.
- Developed communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and cooperate with senior stakeholders
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA with a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
