Our client sells a market leading range of laboratory equipment that have a worldwide reputation for their products and services. The successful candidate will support the growth of the organisation, as an Inside Sales Representative, to sell their instrumentation range across the UK from the companies head office via virtual meetings, phone calls and emails.
To be successful; you will be degree qualified in a scientific discipline or closely related field; you will have a passion for your science; have a genuine interest in providing suitable solutions for scientists, and you will enjoy and be confident in talking with individuals about scientific equipment. Previous sales experience is not essential, however, candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are looking for a career away from the laboratory and have a genuine desire to start a career within Scientific Sales. This role would suit an individual with good communication skills and previous experience in a customer-focused environment. Prior experience in a target driven environment would be highly preferred.
Candidate Requirements:
- A strong academic background in a scientific field (BSc or higher)
- Some prior experience in a target-driven customer-focused role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the motivation to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK Driving Licence
