My client is on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Nights Engineer to join a dynamic, fast-paced food manufacturing site packed with cutting-edge automation and complex processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns across a highly automated food production facility
  • Carry out planned maintenance and support continuous improvement projects
  • Work on a range of high-tech cooking and packaging equipment
  • Record maintenance activity accurately using computer-based systems
  • Conduct root cause analysis and escalate further work when needed
  • Identify and lead on improvement projects to reduce downtime and boost efficiency
  • Perform machine changeovers and adjustments with precision
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Confident working with electrical safety, isolations, and safe panel entry
  • Background in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Able to fully strip down and reassemble machinery
  • Comfortable with using computerised maintenance systems
  • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Health and safety conscious and thrives under pressure
