Shero Talent Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading electrical contracting team working on prestigious and complex commercial projects. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for someone with strong commercial awareness, hands-on experience, and a commitment to quality. You’ll be working alongside a Senior Estimator and a team of Project QSs on a variety of high-profile developments across South London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Assist with a smooth transition from tender stage to project delivery
  • Generate detailed cost estimates, tenders, and valuations
  • Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor packages
  • Oversee projects from procurement through to final account
  • Conduct site visits and attend client meetings
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and final accounts
  • Provide ongoing cost reporting and forecasting
  • Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify and manage contractual claims and disputes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating, preferably within electrical contracting
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial reporting
  • Experience using Cypher or similar quantity surveying software
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and professional approach to all aspects of the role
