Shero Talent Consultancy is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading electrical contracting team working on prestigious and complex commercial projects. This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for someone with strong commercial awareness, hands-on experience, and a commitment to quality. You’ll be working alongside a Senior Estimator and a team of Project QSs on a variety of high-profile developments across South London and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Assist with a smooth transition from tender stage to project delivery
- Generate detailed cost estimates, tenders, and valuations
- Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor packages
- Oversee projects from procurement through to final account
- Conduct site visits and attend client meetings
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and final accounts
- Provide ongoing cost reporting and forecasting
- Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify and manage contractual claims and disputes
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Estimating, preferably within electrical contracting
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial reporting
- Experience using Cypher or similar quantity surveying software
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and professional approach to all aspects of the role
