We’re representing a leading global bank hiring an Analytics Governance Manager to support the establishment of a new Analytics Centre of Excellence. This is a strategic, EMEA-wide role focused on shaping and embedding an analytics governance framework aligned to BCBS239 and EUC governance standards.
This is not a CDO-type role. We’re looking for someone at Senior Manager or Manager level with strong practical understanding of Key Data Outputs (KDOs) and their usage—metrics, dashboards, models, and reports. You’ll define what falls under ‘key’, and support the governance of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and other shadow IT solutions.
The successful candidate will likely come from a data governance, analytics, or reporting background—someone who has helped build or implement frameworks in large, regulated environments, particularly financial institutions. A background in data analysis or business analysis is useful if paired with experience in framework delivery.
What you’ll need:
- Strong grasp of analytics governance principles
- Experience defining KDOs and managing EUC/UDA reporting risk
- Solid understanding of BCBS239 and data usage controls
- Familiarity with tools such as Collibra (cataloguing essential)
- Strong stakeholder engagement across functions (risk, finance, compliance)
This is a greenfield opportunity to influence standards and practices across EMEA. Apply to learn more. We’re open to individuals from either a data governance background who understand analytics or those from analytics roles with experience in governance. What matters most is your ability to articulate what good looks like and help shape a framework from the ground up.
Interview process:
- First round interviews will take place within the next two weeks
- Final interviews will follow after 23 June
- Final stage will include HR
If you’re ready to shape analytics governance across a complex, international banking group, we’d love to hear from you.
