Our client is expanding, and we are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team! If you have a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent service, we want to hear from you.
NOT multi-drop, Curtain-side 18&12 tonne trucks, general Haulage job (2-3 runs per day), 85% of the jobs is loading/unloading with a forklift. 50-60 hours per week guaranteed.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck and report any mechanical issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of 1 year experience in HGV driving (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- A professional and customer-focused attitude
