Who we are looking for The Business Systems Solutions (BSS) department is focused on delivering systems and solutions to the Business. The team utilises various technologies to provide custom built solutions and implement third party products and services. We support processes in driving effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability. You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing products, services and solutions, whilst also leading the delivery, implementation, and integration of our project portfolio. You will support the BSS Portfolio Manager and provide leadership within the delivery team to drive success and innovation. You will emphasise collaboration with stakeholders across departments and teams, promoting innovation and proactive problem-solving, focusing on action and results. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Experience of working with third party vendors to deliver SaaS and Cloud based solutions. Exposure to internal software engineering teams and bespoke development. Understanding of project management and applying best practice methodologies. Technical understanding of multiple technologies and systems. Experience working collaboratively with business users, internal teams and external vendors to provide the best possible solution and service with strong stakeholder management. Excellent service delivery and project management skills, with the ability to deliver a number of projects and services concurrently to the required quality, time and cost. Effectively managing project change, risks and issues as well as having self-motivation. Great communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage conflicting priorities, work independently, multitask and meet tight deadlines within a fast paced environment. Proven track record of providing support to fellow team members. Main Responsibilities Creating and maintaining project plans to deliver a wide range of products and systems with varying degrees of complexity and scale, from discovery to implementation. Mobilising requests and ideas, creating POC’s and driving collaboration and delivery. Working closely with our customers and business analysts to meet requirements and translate them into deliverables. Liaising with our internal development and applications teams to ensure timely delivery of multiple work items across several technologies and domains. Monitoring the existing project pipeline actively, ensuring timely execution and completion, whilst providing reporting and visibility to key stakeholders. Liaising with other technology departments to ensure timely identification, mitigation and resolution of risks and issues, keeping our customers and stakeholders regularly informed. Working with and managing third party vendors to service level agreements, whilst forming excellent working relationships to leverage the best service. Proving support to the Portfolio Manager and Delivery Managers.
