Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnered with a high street fashion brand who has stayed true to their values throughout the years and one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK. This is a national role with stores across the country, the role will include hybrid working with some time in the office, home, and regular travel across the country.
The Head of Retail will be responsible for leading store teams through the day-to-day Retail focuses and delivering the Retail Strategy, focusing on commercial & operational excellence, customer & store experience, and creating the best place to work. You will always be looking for ways to drive continuous improvement and initiate new ways of working.
Collaboration is key and the role entails working with a high number of business partners both internally and externally. The Head of Stores will need to develop and maintain strong relationships and communication channels to ensure our Retail teams are supported in the best possible way. Representing the stores at a senior level, you will be influential. You will also work with the CEO on developing and implementing long-term strategies.
As Head of Retail, you will:
- Initiate and lead key retail projects to deliver improved ways of working and new initiatives.
- Develop and deliver a robust trade routine to review and manage the stores sales and KPI performance.
- Take ownership for driving the weekly retail trade meetings and set clear actions for short term trading initiatives.
- Conduct inspirational store visits to engage teams, observe customers, review implementation, gain feedback, and identify opportunities.
- Lead Retail budget planning, ensuring that the store teams have clear targets and the right tools to deliver P&L success across the estate.
- Manage Retail payroll & controllable costs through P&L reviews, identifying ways to improve efficiency and smarter ways of working.
