Are you a detail-oriented, experienced CAD Technician with a strong engineering background? Do you have good combined technical drawing skills with a solid understanding of commercial quoting?
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Salary: £35,000p.a. - £45,000p.a. DOE
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm (1 hour lunch)
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking a CAD Technician. As CAD Technician your duties will include:
- Creating detailed 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
- Preparing and issuing accurate cost estimates and quotations based on drawings and specifications.
- Participating in design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
An ideal candidate for the CAD Technician will have:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician in an engineering environment.
- Experience in preparing quotes and cost estimates for engineering or fabrication projects.
