With a robust and growing portfolio spanning commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and leisure sectors, this is a key role for a Contracts Manager looking to step into a hands-on position with strong influence over both live delivery and early-stage project planning. Project value up to £20 million. 🔧 The Role: As Contracts Manager, you will typically oversee two live construction sites, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery. Simultaneously, you\’ll play a crucial role in pre-construction planning and programme development for up to three upcoming projects. Key responsibilities include: * Overseeing day-to-day performance across multiple live sites * Managing site teams and liaising closely with Project Managers and subcontractors * Engaging in early project planning and construction methodology reviews * Inputting into tender and procurement processes * Ensuring adherence to programme, quality, safety, and commercial targets * Collaborating with design teams, clients, and internal departments ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering multiple schemes * Strong background in main contracting, ideally across a mix of sectors * Proficiency in Asta Powerproject is essential * Strong understanding of programme management and pre-construction planning * Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills * Willingness to travel nationally as required (accommodation provided) * Midlands-based or willing to travel to regional office as needed 💼 What’s On Offer: * Permanent position within a stable and growing contractor * Diverse portfolio of high-quality, design-led projects * Real influence across pre-con and live delivery phases * Competitive salary + car allowance + pension + benefits * Supportive team culture with progression opportunities
