We’re working with a business looking to bring in an experienced D365 Business Central Functional Consultant. It’s a great opportunity if you enjoy working closely with people, getting properly involved in projects and helping businesses get the most out of their systems.
About the Role
You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle. From gathering requirements and running workshops, to configuration, testing, training and go-live support. The role is fully remote, so ideal if you value flexibility but still want to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with clients to understand their processes and what they need from Business Central
- Running workshops and helping shape the right solutions for each business
- Configuring and customising D365 Business Central to fit client requirements
- Supporting data migration, testing, training and post-go-live support
- Producing clear, user-friendly documentation and process guides
- Collaborating with developers, project managers and other consultants to deliver successful projects
Qualifications
- Solid experience as a Functional Consultant working with D365 Business Central or NAV
- A good understanding of core modules, whether that’s finance, supply chain or manufacturing
- Experience working through full implementation projects
- Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Confident gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions
Required Skills
- Nice to have but not essential: Experience with Power Platform tools like Power BI, Power Apps or Power Automate
- Microsoft certifications in D365 Business Central
- Previous consultancy experience
