A well-established distribution company in the East Midlands is seeking to appoint an experienced Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS) Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of quality assurance, environmental compliance, and health & safety practices across the site. The company holds accreditations in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and BRC for packaging materials, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring ongoing compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the company's QEHS management systems to ensure continued compliance with relevant standards and certifications.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on QEHS matters, ensuring expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Deliver training and support to staff on QEHS policies and procedures, promoting awareness and adherence.
- Monitor and report on QEHS performance metrics to senior management, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Stay up to date with changes in legislation and standards, advising the company on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.

What you'll need:
