Job Description
Working with a small and highly experienced leadership group, the Finance Director will be responsible for all areas of financial control & reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business planning. The FD will manage a small team and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and help to drive strategic financial & growth plans for the business
- Manage and lead the Accounting & Finance department
- Oversee the monthly management accounts, budgeting/forecasting processes, financial reporting & control
- Identify and address relevant financial risks and opportunities for the company
- Collaborate with other departments to help further enhance and develop market opportunities and areas for growth
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning
The Successful Applicant
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with experience of a small-medium sized growth business environment. Candidates seeking to apply should be able to develop the following skills/attributes:
- A relevant Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience of a hands-on leadership role within an SME business environment
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Experience of providing financial analysis and related information to enable further business growth
- Experience in a related environment such as Business/Professional Services would be highly beneficial
