The Resolute Group are working in partnership with an Infrastructure contractor that provides services across the civils, highways, and rail industry sector looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The experienced Quantity Surveyor will be working on behalf of a specialist structural contractor.
Location: South Yorkshire
Job Type: Permanent, Flexible Working
Hours: 30 hours per week (pro rata)
Responsibilities:
- Regular site visits and liaising with the production team and project managers.
- Reviewing and negotiating NEC 3 & NEC4 contracts.
- Analysing rates & prices and agreement of variations and/or compensation events as required.
- Forecasting accurate project rates to assist with tenders and live works.
- Reviewing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation).
- Allocating work to sub-contractors including assistance with procurement when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor working alongside civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial and communication skills.
