We are a unique, outdoor-led Forest School nursery offering a truly child-centred approach to early years education. With a single age range and small class sizes, we are able to focus deeply on individual development, emotional well-being, and learning through nature.
We are looking for a truly exceptional Nursery Manager someone who lives and breathes early years education, thrives in outdoor settings, and leads with confidence, passion, and care.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safety are met at all times. You will lead a small, dedicated team, nurture strong relationships with families, and ensure the nursery remains a magical place for children to explore, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring excellence across all areas
- Deliver a high-quality, child-led curriculum inspired by Forest School principles and the EYFS
- Lead and support a small team, promoting professional development and positive culture
- Maintain a strong safeguarding ethos and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards
- Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and external partners
