Job Purpose Proactive involvement in the estimation/booking function by ensuring the timely production of accurate bid proposals and bid approvals for major projects by ensuring all necessary bid components are delivered to meet delivery targets, deadlines, and customer commitments for desired financial and operational performance. Financial Control Follows the established financial controls throughout the bid process to ensure accurate representation of bid costs and risk mitigation by working closely with external/internal customers to provide an accurate estimation of all components of the bid and ensuring all bid risks associated with the project are highlighted during the risk approval process. Bid Approval Process Compliance with the Otis sales methodology to prepare the bid pack for approval and ensuring specification requirements are either included or positively deviated from our pricing and bid Booking Process Compliance with the booking process by releasing equipment requirements to the Otis factory for manufacturing purposes according to relevant construction timescales enabling Operations to meet delivery targets and customer commitments. Team Contribute to the team objectives through collaboration, coordination, and effective communication by adapting the defined processes and ensure individual accountability for output and results. Customer Focus Build and maintain relationships with internal customers by understanding customer needs and to address bid challenges by creating win-win solutions and managing expectations. Process Compliance Compliance with organisational processes and procedures to ensure a smooth and accurate bid submission in order to meet customer requirements. Organisational Complexity Navigating the internal operational complexities for bids by analysing data and utilising subject matter experts and networks to resolve challenges arising and make informed business decisions.
