Position – In-house Senior Property Solicitor

This is a new role for an in-house senior property solicitor for a property management company in London. In this role you will be responsible for managing the legal processes of selling and purchasing commercial buildings, high-end residential properties across the country, creating lease extensions and conducting other property law matters. You will also receive exposure to other areas of legal work including litigation, on which you will be able to assist specialist solicitors.
The role will be leading the property team that currently consists of 3 Solicitors and a Paralegal. This will involve the supervision and training of juniors, as well as advising more senior solicitors and company directors. The company has luxury offices that overlook the Thames, offering a friendly and vibrant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters, including auction sales and purchases, lease extensions, working with leasehold and freehold properties.
· Provide expert legal advice and representation to the company.
· Prepare and draft legal documents.
· Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
· Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Requirements:
4PQE+ Property Solicitor with experience in residential and commercial property.
Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Have an ambitious and hard working attitude to work.
Has in-house experience or an interest for it.
