We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of SHEQ to join our client to lead the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) strategy across multiple sites. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and quality initiatives that foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the SHEQ strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Set and track SHEQ objectives to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the SHEQ team, promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHEQ management systems into everyday operations.
  • Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve safety and quality outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulators, stakeholders, and certification bodies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a SHEQ leadership role, with strong knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • A degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in SHEQ management, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
  • Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.
