Primary HLTA Ipswich, Suffolk £90 £110 per day Monday Friday (Flexible days) The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team, supporting two local primary schools. This role involves providing classroom support and teacher cover during PPA time, as well as assisting children as needed. You will be joining a nurturing and inclusive environment committed to providing an exceptional standard of education and support for every child. Responsibilities: Provide in-class support and intervention as required. Deliver high-quality teacher cover during PPA time. Collaborate with staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils Would you be interested in ad-hoc supply days working in different schools in the local area? Are you confident to supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared lessons when teaching staff are on short-term absence or have PPA time?? Are you available to work between the hours of 8.15am 3.30pm? 4myschools are currently recruiting for a number of primary schools based in Ipswich, Suffolk and the surrounding areas. Requirements: Hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification or possess equivalent experience in a similar role. Proven ability to support pupils across the primary age range. Strong communication and organizational skills. A nurturing and inclusive approach, with experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) highly desirable. This is on a daily supply basis, working from 1 day a week, up to 5 days a week depending on your availability. The schools range from small schools through to larger than average schools.
