If you have strong experience in project accounting, understand how to manage project revenue and can investigate financial trends and implement solutions to increase yield then this Financial Controller role would be the perfect role for you. * You will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of all financial and management information across the business at month and year end. * As the Financial Controller, you’ll be expected to use strong financial controls and process, alongside a robust structure and approach to both management and project accounting. * You will ensure the effective and best use of internal finance resources to deliver the highest quality internal service to the business, aiding decision making and future direction. * You will have ownership of budgeting, forecasting and driving the involvement of Finance throughout the business. * Offer training and development to other members of the finance team to upskill the department. Skills required: Financial Controller * Qualified or QBE – CIMA/ACCA * Strong experience in Project accounting, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment but others acceptable * Excellent analytical skills to understand and interpret financial data and trends in order to develop solutions and increase profitability * High level of Excel capability * Ability to deal with all levels of staff including engineers, directors and board members * Sage 200 experience desirable This role offers great opportunities for career development and travel as well as a 4.5 day working week, discretionary bonus, private medical, pension and many other benefits.
