TMO Officer  This an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Operations Team and be responsible for the enforcement of parking and moving traffic restrictions in the borough. As a Traffic Management Officer you'll responsible for the processing, drafting and the delivery of the Councils traffic orders ensuring that the Council complies with the requirements of current legislation. You will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of associated moving and stationary traffic orders, road markings and signage, and GIS data. About you Good working knowledge of ICT systems and a sound understanding of GIS and the role of geographic / spatial data in delivering public services. You will be comfortable managing several workstreams concurrently relating to parking and traffic schemes and experience in using ParkMap or a similar system. Demonstrate an expert working knowledge of the statutory procedures governing the introduction of permanent and experimental Traffic Management Orders and other parking and traffic interventions set out in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Highways Act 1980.   The right individual will also have excellent communication skills that will enable you to work with a range of stakeholders across the organisation and within the local community to achieve common goals.    For a full description and further information on the role, please call Phoebe Kingston at Carringto…
