Nigel Frank is thrilled to be working with a fast-growing consultancy that is looking to appoint a Head of Business Applications, a strategic, high impact leadership role focused on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft stack. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a top-tier Business Applications team while driving digital transformation and operational excellence across a portfolio of forward-thinking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and line-manage a growing team of Solution Architects, Functional & Technical Consultants
- Champion the use of Power Platform and low-code/no-code solutions internally and externally
- Shape and oversee solution design, technical delivery, and client success
- Drive the adoption of AI technologies (including Copilot) to improve delivery efficiency
- Act as Lead Solution Architect on strategic projects and new business pursuits
- Establish and scale a Power Platform Centre of Excellence
- Represent the consultancy's Microsoft capability at events, with clients, and to Microsoft directly
- Collaborate with business leaders and clients to align technology with commercial goals
- Stay ahead of product road map developments, trends, and certifications
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a Microsoft Dynamics practice or consultancy
- Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Marketing, Service) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, Pages)
- Demonstrated experience in pre-sales, technical strategy, and client engagement
- Strong understanding of marketing technology and data-driven solutions
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Commercial acumen and a track record of unlocking business value through tech
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-600, PL-200, MB-280) are highly desirable
- Experience with related technologies such as Azure, AI Builder, and Power BI is a plus
