SF Executive are partnered with a large UK multi-site Private Equity backed business seeking a Head of Procurement to join them and lead in organising, reviewing, and modernising their bids & tenders and supplier contracts processes. Additionally, following substantial growth and scaling to a new position enabling cost saving through procurement, the role will include the re-tender of a number of existing supplier contracts and the ongoing management and renewal of these. The right candidate will have a proven track record of effective cost saving through procurement processes and have the ability to demonstrate this. They will also possess the following attributes: Strong ability to influence with gravitas. Natural and successful negotiator. Highly personable with internal and supplier stakeholders. Driven and always looking to achieve. Be either experienced at Procurement Lead level already or be seeking progression to this number 1 level. Expert on bids and tendering process. Ability to manage a vast remit of supplier contracts including, for e.g. rent, rates, utilities, logistics, mechanics services, security, etc. This exciting opportunity provides a blank slate to build a robust and successful procurement service in this ever-growing business and the chance to achieve something profound with them.
