Finance Manager for SME – based Old Street: Β£60 – 70K. Finance Manager for newly created role – you will be supporting an FMCG brand who are in scale-up stage. Great opportunity to support as they grow their UK business – you will be joining a team of 20 or so in great Old Street / Shoreditch offices. Would suit a Finance Manager with experience in start-up / SME ideally within a consumer-led business (FMCG, F&B, retail / brand) – you will need at least 5 years’ experience and relevant qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Xero and advanced Excel are key.

Your role will involve:

  • Monthly / quarterly / annual reporting
  • Cashflow forecasting plus daily monitoring and reconciliations
  • Collaboration with project managers on budget / cost / spend as this consumer-led business scale their UK outposts
  • Monthly management accounts
  • HMRC liaison, including preparation and filing of VAT returns
  • Budget management and modelling
  • Raising POs and onboarding suppliers
  • In time likely line management of 1-2 Finance Assistants

Great sociable team, you will need to be in the office 4 days per week (1 day WFH). This role would suit a Finance Manager who has great people skills and is used to liaising at senior (Founder) level. An entrepreneurial mindset and flexible outlook as this business scales their UK team; you will need to be proactive and happy working autonomously as part of a small HQ / Operations team.

Β£60 – 70,000 plus 25 days’ holiday, L&D support, hybrid working, private medical insurance and an inclusive, sociable culture.
