Finance Management Systems Accountant

Good Afternoon,\\n\\nI am currently representing Hillingdon Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience\\n\\nWe are looking for a Finance Management Systems Accountant this role will be: UB8 1UW Hybrid\\n\\nThe right candidate will:\\n\\n * To support the Team Leader – Oracle Cloud Support (Financial Systems Team) in providing system support for budget monitoring and budget development, (EPM) and the Financial systems maintenance (ERP) including user setup, (ERP & EPM) system queries via the call logging portal, including advice and guidance to Finance Business Partners across the council.\\n\\n * To maintain and develop financial systems – including ensuring financial systems reflect Council structures to support accountability and ownership of the Council’s budgets and that systems are in place to support financial reporting to Cabinet and Statutory reporting.\\n\\n * To ensure that new users and segment codes requested are set up in the system in line with Council policies.\\n\\n * To support the maintenance of the EPM, AP, AR, P2P system set up and liaise with Financial Systems Leads for these areas to ensure that users are set up with the correct access.\\n\\n * To assist with the review of master data in the system to ensure that hierarchies, users and roles are kept up to date.\\n\\nWe require the following:\\n\\n * Demonstratable local government finance experience\\n\\n * Experience of using based financial systems within a large complex organisation.\\n\\n * AAT fully qualified or equivalent and / or experience requirements as set out below\\n\\n * Passed first year of a full professional CCAB accounting qualification\\n\\nTo discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed)\\n\\nIf you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.\\n\\nIF THIS ROLE IS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOU, BUT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ROLE, PLEASE SEND OVER YOUR CV AND I WILL CHECK WHAT ROLES I HAVE AVAILABLE.\\n\\nLook forward to speaking with you soon
