Our Client is looking for an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver, safely transporting and recovering a wide range of vehicles using specialist equipment while delivering excellent service to customers across the Liverpool and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver:

  • Attend recovery jobs for a range of customers both locally and nationally
  • Safely recover vehicles that cannot be repaired at the roadside
  • Manage your workload independently using a PDA system
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure high standards are maintained
  • Record job details accurately in line with company procedures

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver:

  • Full UK driving licence with Category C+E and valid DCPC
  • Strong communication skills and confident dealing with customers and control
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (training can be provided)
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs
  • Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Vetting approval required to support West Midlands Police operations where applicable

Desirable:

  • Previous recovery experience
  • ADR and IVR qualifications
