Our Client is looking for an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver, safely transporting and recovering a wide range of vehicles using specialist equipment while delivering excellent service to customers across the Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver:
- Attend recovery jobs for a range of customers both locally and nationally
- Safely recover vehicles that cannot be repaired at the roadside
- Manage your workload independently using a PDA system
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure high standards are maintained
- Record job details accurately in line with company procedures
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Class 1 Recovery Driver:
- Full UK driving licence with Category C+E and valid DCPC
- Strong communication skills and confident dealing with customers and control
- Basic mechanical knowledge (training can be provided)
- Good geographical knowledge
- Flexible and adaptable to business needs
- Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Vetting approval required to support West Midlands Police operations where applicable
Desirable:
- Previous recovery experience
