An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established and respected M&E contractor based in Leeds. With over 20 years of consistent delivery across commercial, industrial, and public sectors, the company is continuing to grow and seeks a driven professional to support mechanical installation projects nationwide.
This role offers the chance to manage HVAC and plumbing projects from initial design through to final handover, with full responsibility for planning, coordination, procurement, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical projects across the UK, from planning to completion
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and smooth delivery
- Manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and all budgeting and forecasting activities
- Lead on-site teams to ensure timely delivery, compliance with regulations, and high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage project close-out, including testing, commissioning, and handover
- Minimum 5 yearsβ experience in the HVAC or mechanical building services industry
- Proven track record in a similar project management role
- Strong mechanical engineering background with HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
