Hours: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (including shift allowance)

Syntech Recruitment is working with a precision engineering firm in Byfleet who are expanding their operations and launching a brand-new late shift. We’re searching for a CNC Supervisor to oversee a small but growing team and play a key role in day-to-day production—while staying involved on the tools.

CNC Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Supervising late shift operations and supporting a small team
  • Setting, operating, and programming CNC turning centres (Fanuc controls)
  • Ensuring smooth workflow and achieving shift targets
  • Monitoring quality and output, resolving minor issues where needed
  • Acting as the main point of contact for handovers and production updates

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong CNC machining background with programming experience (Fanuc essential)
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a team in a machine shop environment
  • Able to read engineering drawings and perform quality checks
  • Confident leading by example while staying hands-on with production tasks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
