The Purchasing Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Secretarial & Business Support department within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The candidate will ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high-quality standards., * Primary point of contact with manufacturing partners, planning production schedules and shipments.

  • Liaison with third party suppliers, confirming/managing purchase orders and arranging shipments

  • Liaison with logistics partners

  • Ensuring shipment data is accurately maintained on internal systems

  • Administration of manufacturing workflows and production orders

  • Management of key company data

  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in logistics or purchasing

  • Excellent administrative and analytical skills, with an eye for detail

  • Efficient workflow management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple tasks

  • Proven success in both independent and collaborative team environments, * A UK resident

  • Strong IT literacy to include MS Office

  • Competent writing skills and numeracy, supported by Maths and English qualifications to a minimum of Grade C/4 at GCSE level or equivalent

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Knowledge of SAP Business One useful, but not essential
