Key Account Manager Bag-in-Box & Spouted Pouch UK is a supplier of filling equipment and packaging for food and beverages. In Europe, we operate in three segments: beverage cartons (BC), spouted pouches (SP), and Bag-in-Box (BiB) for the retail and foodservice channel.
As part of the EU BiB & SP sales team, this role is responsible for sales of BiB dedicated to the QSR channel. Developing ideas, strategies, and specific plans to ensure revenue growth across all accounts, prospects, and products in the Food Service Market. Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring long-term relationship building and customer satisfaction.
Lead and manage the entire sales cycle, including the design, approval, and presentation of commercial offers for packaging materials, filling machines, and services. Forecast sales volume, pricing trends, and expected account growth with accuracy across monthly, quarterly, and yearly planning cycles. Drive contractual negotiations and define commercial terms aligned with company profit targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to support project execution, order management, and timely deliveries. Monitor and follow up on packaging material orders, service delivery, and customer payments. Contribute to annual budgeting, S&OP cycles, and long-term financial planning for the assigned customer base.
Build strong networking relationships at all levels with customers, distributors, and retailers to unlock new project opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or project management, ideally in the Food Service and/or Packaging industry
- Background in working within multinational companies, managing complex accounts across different regions
- Proven track record in Digital Transformation initiatives or implementation of digital tools and systems
- Solid knowledge and autonomous use of SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office platforms for reporting, data analysis, and customer insights
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset and focus on high-margin business
- Native or fluent in English (written and spoken)
