The predicted salary is between 34000 - 51000 ÂŁ per year.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Communications Groups in a leadership role. As such you will be a lead relationship holder for your assigned clients which will be within consumer comms. You will be accountable for the effective and profitable delivery of projects and retainers for these clients and will be a key driver of income growth, taking responsibility for developing existing clients and winning new clients for the agency.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Effectively lead a team of account managers and account executives
  • Take an active role in driving the agency forward
  • Be a guide and mentor to your team
  • Keep all relevant people informed of client or internal activities
  • Communicate information within the team with authority and clarity
  • Demonstrate a passion and aptitude for developing the members of your team
  • Take ownership of their personal and professional growth (as well as your own)

CAMPAIGNS & CLIENTS

  • Take ownership of the strategic development of campaigns, with the support of your director and/or the Board
  • Ensure that creative solutions are found to client problems
  • Inspire and enable creativity in your team
  • Contribute creatively in all campaign planning, and leverage creative connections where relevant
  • Be a confident and inspiring presenter, able to deliver high quality presentations internally and externally
  • Create high quality written and visual documents
  • Encourage exceptional standards for the work coming out of your team
  • Have a solid understanding of the wider marketing mix as well as PR & Communications - and demonstrate a passion to expand this knowledge
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the agency’s key audience, and a passion for growing and nurturing this knowledge
  • Instil a culture in your team where solid consumer understanding and insights are at the heart of all work
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the media landscape, and take responsibility for growing your awareness of latest trends
  • Leverage this to build media strategy and tactics for your campaigns
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the influencer landscape, and take responsibility for growing your awareness of latest trends
  • Leverage this to build solid influencer strategy and tactics for your campaigns
  • Have a solid contact book of creators, with a passion for growing this and leading by example within the team
  • Demonstrate leadership on the accounts you head up. Be the clients’ key problem solver, strategic support and creative consultant
  • Ensure that your team are managing the account to a high standard
  • Contribute effectively to the development of KPIs when planning campaigns
  • Build strong measurement frameworks, and deliver PCAs to a high standard
  • Encourage a culture of rigorous analysis and reflection within your team
  • Build strong and effective relationships with clients rooted in trust and mutual respect
  • Understand how your clients businesses work
  • Understand your clients’ needs and internal pressures and respond accordingly

NEW BUSINESS

  • Ensure you’re aware of, and able to communicate, the agency’s key USPs, past, present and future
  • Coach your team to be able to do the same
  • Seek to build out your network, and actively look for opportunities to generate new business opportunities for the agency
  • Take a key role in the development and delivery of new business pitches
  • Actively participate in the agency’s marketing activities
  • Proactively seek new opportunities and channels to promote our work

COMPANY LEADERSHIP

  • Take an active role in the resource planning process
  • Ensure you are aware of the upcoming requirements of your clients and the pressures on your team
  • Take an active role in the time analysis of your clients and projects
  • Ensure that learnings are captured and shared
  • Work with directors on the resolution of over-servicing issues and ensure that solutions are found for clients
  • Be responsible for ensuring that your clients are working under up-to-date terms of business
  • Ensure that all your projects are working under signed SOW
  • Seek to generate new commercial opportunities within your existing client base – through expansion and cross-sell
  • Be aware of, and able to communicate, the agency’s long and short term business objectives, and encourage an understanding of these amongst your team
  • Be able to build accurate project fee budgets, with the support of a director and/or Board
  • Be able to build and manage accurate programme cost budgets, and ensure all costs are being tracked by your team

Salary is purely dependent on skills & experience with a range of ÂŁ40,000 - ÂŁ60,000: excellent benefits.
