Supplying both branded and own-label solutions to electrical wholesalers, distributors, OEMs and contractors, this is a business that’s not just growing – it’s transforming.

With recent strategic mergers and acquisitions, their product suite has significantly expanded – creating a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager to help shape the next chapter of success.

The Role: As Business Development Manager, you will manage and grow a large portfolio of active accounts across the London/South East corridor, with a strong focus on the electrical contractor market. This is not cold calling – you will be building deeper relationships with existing clients and driving new opportunities through cross-selling and solution-based selling. You’ll work closely with contractors on their projects, educating them on the product range, supporting them on pricing, and maximising account value.

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of contractor accounts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across an expanded product range
  • Provide product education and pricing support to contractors
  • Work independently to plan and execute visits across a wide territory
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers

What We’re Looking For: We want to hear from confident, enthusiastic sales professionals who understand the electrical sector and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous role.

  • Proven experience in electrical wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or sales to contractors
  • Experience in either external business development or internal sales and hungry for growth
  • Strong relationship builder who can communicate technical value and close deals
  • Ability to manage a wide-ranging territory with minimal supervision
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of results
