Job Advertisement: Health and Safety Trainer- Construction Sector Location: – x 2 National Roles- Home based with travel and overnight stays required Salary: Up to £51,500 per annum with a choice of car allowance of £6,900 per annum or a company car Benefits: A highly recognised Training Provider with over 60 years of experience. Operating in Scotland, England, and Wales, employing around 400 people. 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, rising to 30 days per annum. Key Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Trainer: Develop and deliver comprehensive Health and Safety training programmes tailored to the construction sector, such as the SMSTS Course, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Conduct face-to-face teaching and delivery in groups in a classroom setting on a variety of topics, including Health and Safety within the construction sector, focusing on site work. Utilise engaging instructional techniques and materials to facilitate effective learning experiences for participants. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess training needs and develop customized learning solutions. Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the training process. Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, implementing improvements as needed. Act as a subject matter expert, offering advice and guidance to colleagues and clients on Construction Health and Safety matters. Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, promoting our training services and expertise. Essential Requirements for the Health and Safety Trainer Background in Construction Management NEBOSH Certificate or above Management Qualification at Level 5 or equivalent, ideal within Construction Site Management Teaching Award at level 3 or above is desirable Experience delivering Health and Safety Programmes within the Construction Sector Flexibility in travel and must hold a Full UK driving license This position is subject to an advanced DBS check and employment checks.
