Credit Controller – within a team of 6 Outskirts of Birmingham – Free Parking (hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office) Salary up to £29,000 plus excellent benefits SF are working exclusively with a high performing Credit team based near Birmimgham. The credit team is looking to expand the team with ongoing growth and market share with the passion and determination to make a difference for the future success. Our client is looking for a strong all round Credit professional to manage a ledger of 600+ live accounts, putting accounts on stop, proactively managing queries, and meeting monthly cash collection targets. Your responsibilities: – Allocate Cash to customer accounts and allocate to invoices – Review new/existing customers credit ratings using a credit agency – Decide on appropriate customer credit limits up a certain amount before escalating to Head of Finance – Work with minimum supervision to collect overdue customer accounts using telephone, email and liaising with Sales Managers – Reconcile customer accounts, deal with customer queries and raise necessary credit notes – Oversee production and delivery of monthly statements – Check suspended order list for orders held for credit limit – Collaborate and action the debtors ledger with line manager and colleagues – Be proactive in making changes to the method & processes for collection of debt …
