I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planning Supervisor to join a leading Fuel distributor who specialise within UK wide commercial petrochemical distribution.

The Candidate:
- Proven experience in transport planning leadership position
- ADR / Tanker route planning experience is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent geographical knowledge and attention to detail
- Leadership capabilities with a talent for coaching and motivating teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review daily driver plans to maximise legal shift availability and resource use
- Investigate and report on customer service issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Act as the primary point of contact for bitumen, emulsion, and fuel oil clients, ensuring prompt resolution of delivery concerns
- Monitor team performance, conduct annual reviews, and support ongoing development and coverage for holidays and absences
