A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at a premium, independent practice in Northamptonshire that has undergone a recent extension and complete refurbishment with a fully-equipped clinic including new digital x-ray and ultrasound. You will be joining a family-owned, friendly team of five vets and six nurses. Enjoy practicing from your own personalized consult room in possibly the most beautiful practice in the country.
If you are great at making personal connections and passionate about pleasing customers and want to work where clients know their vets by name and expect to trust them for life, this is your dream job! The role is full-time for 4 days a week, with 1 in 5 weekends and no OOHs or Bank Holidays. You will earn up to 20% (not sales based) of your salary as an annual bonus, and to prove they are serious they will pay you a minimum first year bonus of £5,000!
The ideal candidate will have at least a couple years of experience, but most importantly you will remain calm under pressure, enjoy consulting as much as the clinical side, enjoy being part of a close team and make the occasional cup of tea! Client & case continuity is at the heart of everything they do and why they stand out against the competition. The practice matches all clients to ‘their’ vet, meaning you remain responsible for the health of their pets for life. Their future focus is on developing their team and expanding their clinical services. With a new hospital in the pipeline, they invest in the training you want and the equipment you need as they expand their clinical services. The clinical areas are spacious and filled with natural light, and the public areas are designed to feel like home. You have your own consult room, designed by you just for you. They are also a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, ensuring you will be working with the highest quality support staff.
You will be working in a friendly market town surrounded by the large towns of Bedford, Northampton, Kettering, St Neots and Huntingdon all within a 20 minute drive and with the usual social and entertainment facilities. There are many lovely pubs and restaurants spread across the surrounding villages and the larger towns offer great retail therapy, with Rushden Lakes Shopping Park right on your doorstep. There are many activities for the outdoors-y type as well, making the area a fantastic place to start your new career journey!
The Rota:
- Balanced Workweek: 4 days a week, 39 hours a week
- 1 in 5 weekends, 9am – 3pm
- No OOHs or Bank Holidays
